Sheikha Intisar Al Sabah and Alnowair have supported a group of Kuwaiti graduates to volunteer for Syrian refugees in Türkiye.

The volunteering mission to support Syrian refugees in Türkiye was organized in between Alnowair, Kuwait Dental Student Society, and Kuwait Medical Students Association, while Sheikha Intisar partially sponsored the trip.

Alnowair engaged students prior to their departure in setting up goals and intentions for the trip, as well as supplied them with its Kindness Journal to help them reflect on each day’s experiences – moments of compassion, challenges faced, and the transformative power of their actions.

Once the student’s volunteering mission was completed, similar gathering was organized where students proudly talked about their achieved goals, experiences, and logs from their kindness journals.

“The reason of establishing Alnowair in 2013 was and will always be to equip students, workforce and community members with tools and ways to help them flourish and positively transform their behaviors,” Sheikha Intisar said to the volunteers. “Kindness is a language that all understand despite differences in cultures, and circumstances. It binds us together as humanity, reminding us of our inherent connection to one another. Your decision to volunteer and support refugees is more than a gesture; it’s an embodiment of the very essence of kindness, I am so privileged and grateful to be part and support in your journey of kindness. Remember, through this journey you’re not just offering help; you’re sharing humanity. And in doing so, you’ll not only transform the lives of those you meet but also, quite profoundly, your own.”
