HH Sheikha Intisar AlSabah, Founder and Chairwoman of Intisar Foundation, took part in a podcast entitled “The Science and Art of Peace” by the University of California, Irvine, to talk about her mission to help #1MillionArabWomenForPeace to overcome their war/violence trauma and reach the state of self-empowerment.
For a conversation moderated by Dr. Lina Haddad Kreidie, Political Psychologist and Advisor at the Technical Committee of Intisar Foundation, HH Sheikha Intisar was joined by Sara Sakhi, Field Researcher and Coordinator at Intisar Foundation, who shared insightful information about the effectiveness of drama therapy in reducing depression, anxiety, and PTSD symptoms, and Dr. Myriam El Khoury Malhame, Assistant Professor of Psychology, LAU, who explained how drama therapy affects the brain and behaviour.
